4 | The R&A Rules and the Local Rules of the Host Club will apply except GPS devices, which measure distance only, may be used. In mixed gender scratch matchplay events, equalisation strokes will be applied as per the “Guidance on the WHS rules of handicapping as applied within GB&I.” Equalisation strokes will be based on the difference between the Course Rating of the tees being played. For example, the ladies Course Rating from the tees being used by the lady is 71, the gents Course Rating for their tees is 69. Therefore, the lady will receive 2 equalisation strokes to be taken as indicated by the ladies stroke index for the tees being used. |
