History of The Boundary Bell

The Glasgow Boundary Bell was introduced in 1998, by Graham Dunigan, a Past Captain from Hilton Park. It is a cup played for between the winners of the Donald Cameron League, North of the River Clyde, and the winners of the Brand Putter League, South of the River Clyde. The winners of the Bell are entitled to call themselves "Glasgow Champions" It is hosted by a club not taking part in the event.
A tradition has been started that winners of the Bell hang same in a prominent position within their Clubhouse and if members wish to ring the Bell, they must make a donation to the Glasgow based charity "The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice" To date over £12,000 has been collected.
